Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has publicly expressed that he does not wish to 'reconcile' with his family, marking his first direct comments on the rumored tension with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. In an Instagram series, the eldest Beckham son accused his parents of undermining his relationship with his wife, Nicola, through the media, saying they continually tried to 'endlessly ruin' their union.

After months of speculation about discord within the famous family, Beckham stated he had attempted to keep the dispute under wraps but felt compelled to 'speak for myself and tell the truth.' The BBC has reached out to representatives of David and Victoria Beckham for their comments, although neither has publicly acknowledged the disagreement.

Posting to his 16 million followers, the 26-year-old explained, 'I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself.'

He commented further, 'I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled; I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths they'll go to place countless lies in the media.'

Beckham's remarks centered around his marriage to the American actress Nicola Peltz, daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz, whom he said faced disrespect from his family, including disputes over wedding preparations. There were claims that his mother, a fashion designer, canceled a planned wedding dress for Nicola, forcing her to find a last-minute replacement. Although rumors surfaced that Nicola refused to wear one of Victoria Beckham's designs, she reportedly denied a feud, attributing it to time constraints at the atelier.

Brooklyn also criticized his parents over incidents during their wedding, including his mother's alleged 'inappropriate' dance with him at the reception, claiming they had to renew vows to replace 'anxiety and embarrassment' with joyful memories.

Allegations extend to efforts by his parents to make him relinquish rights to his name before the wedding, which he resisted, suggesting it changed how they treated him subsequently.

The rift rumors were further fueled by the couple's noticeable absence from David Beckham's 50th birthday celebration. Brooklyn claimed that despite being in London, they were sidelined and only offered a chance to meet him at his large, media-covered party, a situation he felt undermined his relationship with his father.

He called the offer to meet without his wife a 'slap in the face,' and mentioned that his family avoided them during a follow-up visit to Los Angeles.
